ACNE

Acne is a skin disease that affects 1 in 3 women and causes spots on the face, neck, chest and sometimes the back. Hormonal acne is highly treatable. Laser treatment destroys the sebaceous glands responsible for the onset of acne and stems the growth of bacteria.

Inflammatory acne

LED (Light Emitting Diode) treatment is a non-invasive alternative to medications for inflammatory acne.

Red and blue LED lights are used and the sessions last 15 to 30 minutes at a rate of one to two sessions per week. 6 to 8 sessions are necessary to achieve results. Follow-up sessions are often also necessary.

One session costs €50.

Acne scars

Scars, particularly acne scars, can be mitigated by fractional lasers. The methods and side effects are the same as those described for deep photorejuvenation (fractional CO2 laser).
